Mr. Jones shared an amazing collection of trophies, photos, memorabilia, and the timeless history of stock car racing in Paulding County, Georgia.

The October Monthly Meeting was honored to hear a presentation by Steve Jones. He began by telling us of the first auto race in Paulding County between Henry Henderson and Howard Crew in two 1909 Model T.'s, and all the way through to the closing of the Dragway. We were on the edge of our seats.

The 1950s brought stock car racing to Paulding County. During this era, big ambitions and big motors added a huge chapter to the story of the people in Paulding county.
