Membership in the Paulding County Genealogical Society is open to anyone interested in genealogy and researching their family history. The PCGS is a group of people whose common interest is researching the history of families and their communities.
How to Join
the PCGS
We're always excited to welcome new members to the Paulding County Genealogical Society. We now offer multiple options for joining the society, renewing memberships, and making donations. Prospective members can easily sign up and pay online through our website. After joining, a PCGS representative will contact you with more information about your new membership. Thanks for joining us!
Annual membership dues are $25 for individuals and $30 for households. Dues are payable Jan. 1st. New members joining after July 1st have the option to pay 1/2 the annual rate for the year in which they join.

The Paulding County Genealogical Society continues to collect Paulding County memorabilia and keepsakes to share at The Paulding County Genealogy and History Research Library. Our goal is to preserve these histories.
Please contribute copies of your old pictures of families, home places, schools, churches, liquor stills, soldiers of any war, etc. We will make the copies for you. The PCGS also accepts monetary donations. Thank you for your contributions.

PCGS Genealogy & Research Library Information
There is no charge to visit the library. There is a charge for copies. There are publications for sale as well. Membership in the Paulding County Genealogical Society is $25 per year for individuals and $30 per year for households.
We have books with cemetery and marriage information for Paulding County and many surrounding counties. We have The Heritage of Paulding County, Georgia as well as the Heritage Books for some other counties. We have back issues of Georgia Genealogical Magazine and some other periodicals.
The Library has a large collection of genealogical materials on Paulding County and surrounding areas. There are also volunteers who will try to answer questions on Paulding County family history. Everyone is welcome!
