The Burch Family: Genealogy and Military History

Join us for another informative monthly program with the Paulding County Genealogical Society!  Our guest speaker, Mr. Glenn Burch, will discuss the genealogy of the Burch family here in Paulding County along with a detailed look at the military services and distinguished careers of his father’s siblings. Mr. Glenn Burch is a longtime resident of Paulding County, attended the Dallas High School, a graduate of the University of Georgia, and served in Vietnam as a First Lieutenant in the Army.  Many individuals from the Burch family have been members of the First United Methodist Church of Dallas for many years. Glenn’s father, Mr. Gray Burch, was the former Dallas Postmaster, City Manager of Dallas, head of Paulding’s 4H programs, and a pilot in the Pacific during World War II.
