About the Event
Join the Paulding County Genealogical Society at the Dallas Public Library for our November presentation with local resident, Fred Aiken, as he discusses the Aiken family and his other relatives from Paulding County. Mr. Aiken’s presentation will cover his honorable community service in Paulding County and Cobb County. Mr. Aiken will share stories from his many years serving as an elected official as the Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Labor. Fred spent many years working with Newt Gingrich and his staff while working in the national government and will also tell us about this unique experience.
This event will take place on Saturday, November 5th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Dallas Public Library and is made possible by the Paulding County Genealogical Society. This series is part of the PCGS monthly programs and is open to the public at no charge. For more information regarding our programs or to learn more about becoming a society member, contact our office at 404-435-4648.
