About the Event
Miles Bush, an active genealogist in Dallas Georgia, will be a featured speaker at the Paulding County Genealogical Society program on Saturday, October 4, 10 a.m. at the Dallas Public Library. Miles will discuss his family tree, including his Norwegian descent.
Mr. Bush grew up in California and was a radio disc jockey who knew the Beach Boys prior to his serving in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Three of Miles’s nine children live in Paulding County. His Norwegian grandparents settled in South Dakota. Miles had ancestors who fought in the Civil War, some for the Union and some for the Confederacy. His father served in the US Army Air Corps during World War I.
