Join us for the December program with our guest speaker, Billy Green, who will share a collection of captivating stories you won't forget! Billy Green - retired former Chief Investigator for the Georgia Department of Transportation - will present a variety of intriguing local events, including the Chief McIntosh incident in Carroll County, the history of a Cherokee Leader named Major Ridge, the Polk County pot plane, and the Tallapoosa pipeline conspiracy. Mr. Green will also bring some of his impressive paintings of Civil War battles for discussion. This event will touch on events that trace back to the early 1800's and more recent stories that happened only decades ago.
